As you read this, Jeff is on his way to India to meet up with 15 others from Texas. They will spend 10 days on the ground training nationals and sharing the Gospel in many villages. God is moving mightily in India, and it is exciting to ride His Wave and see Him work. We are anxious to see and hear what He does while the team is there -- and afterward! Please pray for safety in travel for the team getting there and back home, as well as while in India. Also, please pray for health and for Jeff to clear immigration with no problems. Several of our friends have been turned away by immigration and have not been allowed to enter the country for various reasons, mainly stemming from visa issues in the past. So, please pray that Jeff has favor and passes through immigration successfully.
As we reflect on 2015, we are so grateful for your partnership in everything that God has accomplished this past year. Generational growth among disciples is beginning to multiply in various cities, namely Houston, Austin, West Palm, Memphis, and others. Forbes magazine published a couple months ago the top fastest growing cities in the U.S. Amazingly, NoPlaceLeft teams are already working in the top ten! Nothing takes God by surprise; He knew where He needed His people to be prepared for growth. The response from many of you to the Nepal earthquake disaster has overwhelmed us. We are encouraged by your generosity and by our national brothers and sisters who have shared the Gospel more than 27,000 times while rebuilding homes and meeting the physical needs of those around them. Last month while Jeff was in Ecuador, he was touched by a national there who was broken for his country and for his people to have a passion to share the Gospel; this brokenness is springing up everywhere as people call out to God on behalf of their nations. As a result, we are expecting God to do great things. As for the kids, Caleb is a junior studying Exercise Science and will graduate next December – one of his classes this semester has really challenged him to go back to Scripture to defend what he believes; Abigail returned from South Africa in June and enrolled in college this fall – she is working towards her teaching degree; and Miriam is looking forward to graduating high school in the spring, although she isn’t sure yet where she will be attending college – she completed a successful high school golf season finishing 3rd in our region and 32nd in the state. Please pray for Jeff's India trip as mentioned above.
Dec. 28-Jan. 8 a training will be held in Miami. This training involves intense study of the Word, examining what Jesus said and did, what his disciples said and did, characteristics and activities of the early church, and the role of persecution and suffering. Join us in covering this meeting with prayer.
